Who we are
STS Holdings and the companies in its group ("STS", "we") run this website. STS Holdings is the responsible party for personal information collected through it.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the contact, subscribe and talent pool forms (such as your name, email address, organisation, the topic of your enquiry and, for the talent pool, your area of interest and a link to your CV or profile), plus limited technical data such as browser type and pages visited, and analytics data only if you accept analytics cookies.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and route it to the right business, product or team; to send the updates you chose; to consider you for roles; and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information.
Legal bases
Your consent (updates, analytics cookies and the talent pool), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the site, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing and processors
We share personal information only with service providers who process it for us under contract, such as our website host, our analytics provider (Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies) and our CRM and email platform (HubSpot), and with the STS business your enquiry concerns. We disclose it to authorities only where the law requires.
International transfers
The group operates in South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, and some providers store data in other countries. Where information leaves the country it was collected in, we use providers bound by adequate protection, as POPIA, the GDPR and the UAE PDPL require.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact, subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and talent pool details for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 26 months.
Your rights
Under POPIA, the GDPR and the UAE PDPL you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent and ask for a copy in a portable format. Unsubscribe links are in every email.

Write to our information officer at info@sts.holdings with the subject "Privacy". If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa), the Information Commissioner's Office (United Kingdom) or the UAE Data Office.
